WHAT: Cleaning up litter and debris from local sites around the borough and townships.
ALSO: Electronics recycling will be available at Community Park during the event – just stop by with items to recycle like TVs, computers, printers, air conditioners and batteries! Click here to download list of accepted materials and fees.
WHEN: Saturday, April 21. We will begin gathering at 8:30 a.m. for coffee and to get organized, then start cleaning up the town by 9 a.m.!
EVENT SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES:
8:30 a.m. - Registration
9 a.m. - Group photo
9 a.m. - Start Clean Up!
8:30-Noon - e-Waste Recycling
10:30 a.m. - Magnolia tree planting at the Park (with the Emmaus Shade Tree Commission)
11 a.m. - Hot dog lunch for all participants
11 a.m. - Worm composting demo, by Seven Generations charter school
11 a.m.-1 p.m. - Rain barrel workshop, by Seven Generations charter school
WHERE: Meet at the Emmaus Community Park Shimerville Road at South 14th Street. Instructions and directions to all the cleanup sites will be provided.

Can't come to stay for the clean-up? Stop by the park anyway to participate in electronic's recycling and visit organizations with educational activities by the Wildlands Conservancy, Bird Town USA, and the Emmaus Shade Tree Commission!
