E-Waste Recycling on Earth Day!

Among the many activities planned for the 2011 Earth Day event in Emmaus is another e-waste recycling program! Come to the Emmaus Community Park anytime from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, to drop off old appliances, TVs, computers, batteries, light bulbs and more (some fees apply).

What else is happening on Earth Day? Come to the park on Saturday to check it out! We will be organizing groups for litter clean-up activities in the morning. At lunchtime, we will have Bob Swaim giving demonstrations of his conference bicycle, the Emmaus Arts Commission will announce winners of their rain barrel auction, and the Emmaus Main Street program will announce winners of their first eco-scavenger hunt!
